MONITORING BETEX Bearing Checker

The Bearing Checker is a unique instrument, small and lightweight, designed for fast, on-site condition assessment of all types of ball and roller bearings. Problems are detected at an early stage; well before bearing damage is noticeable due to an increase in vibrations or temperature. The assessed checking results provide service technicians and engineers with immediate information on the current condition of the bearing and the cause of potential problems with the machine. They can be determined without specialist training. • Shock pulse method. With the quick coupling shock pulse sensor, the instrument can be used for bearing checks in a large number of rotating industrial machines that are supplied with standard checking nipples. • An infrared temperature sensor measures the surface temperature. • The instrument also has an electronic stethoscope function to listen to machine sounds. • Checking results in green, yellow and red (the traffic light effect) give an immediate and reliable indication of the machine’s condition in an easy-to-understand way.
